Where to buy replica watches in Englewood, New Jersey?

Combining a small-town feel with easy access to the Big Apple (just across the Hudson river) is Englewood, New Jersey. And it’s home to The Timepiece Collection for the past 15 years. Back when they opened in 2001, there was a very small market of high-end watch retailers in Bergen County. At that time, two avid watch lovers and longtime friends, Mike Rosenberg and Jeff Khalaf, created The Timepiece Collection Ltd.

BuyWatchesTop (BWT): What types of watches are popular in your market? What makes Englewood a unique place to buy replica watches?

Timepiece Collection: We have many local watch collectors in the area and sell a lot of high-complication timepieces. The three brands that are our most popular are Audemars Piguet, Ulysse Nardin, and Hublot. In 2015, one of our biggest accomplishments was that we were named the #1 retailer of Hublot in the tri-state area. We also have an in-house watch repair and service department. Our store is truly a one-stop shop for all customers.

Englewood is a unique place to buy fake watches because there is such a diverse community of watch lovers. We have a brand in store to fit nearly any price point. Anyone from the avid shopper, to the high-end collector will walk into our store on any given day.

BWT: What would you tell watch lovers in other cities about the tastes of watch lovers in Englewood?

Timepiece Collection: We have 20-plus brands in store, so our market is much larger than just the city of Englewood. We are one of the leading watch retailers in New Jersey, and we love that we have customers all throughout the tri-state area and beyond. Watch lovers in the area love high-complication movements and limited-edition pieces, while some still love the simple luxury jewelry pieces. We have a wide range of customers, purchasing both the classic and sophisticated, to the sporty, oversized, and flashy. We love that we can sell our customers everything from a pre-owned Omega Seamaster, to a new Ulysse Nardin Lady Diver. We have a brand and timepiece for nearly every price point.

BWT: Do you serve mostly locals or tourists, or is it a good mix? Also, what percentage of your customers would you call “knowledgeable watch collectors?”

Timepiece Collection: Because we ship internationally, we have a good mix of local customers as well as tourists. We are located just across the George Washington Bridge, and have many clients come in from Manhattan. A majority of our clients have been purchasing watches from us for the past 15 years. Being a luxury dealer for so many brands within 5 miles of Manhattan gives us a huge advantage.

Bergen Performing Arts Center

BWT: What is Englewood best-known for? What do visitors have to do, see, or eat while there?

Timepiece Collection: Englewood is well-known for the Bergen Performing Arts Center. It is a local non-profit theater that brings both big and small names to the stage. The town has a great selection of restaurants and shops for visitors. Englewood is also known for various celebrities that have lived in the East Hill Mansions, including Eddie Murphy, Sara Jessica Parker, Lil’ Kim, Tony Bennett, and many others. It is a small community with a city-like feel, and that’s what makes the entire neighborhood so desirable.

BWT: As a business, do you sponsor or participate in any local events, watch-related or otherwise?

Timepiece Collection: We sponsor many local events that involve charities in the area. Recently, we had an in-house event sponsoring Englewood Medical Center Foundation. We donated a portion of all Chopard replica watches sold through the month of May. We also sponsored an event benefiting Eva’s Village which is a local non-profit that helps underprivileged children in Bergen County.

Near the end of 2015, we worked with Hublot in creating our own 25-piece limited edition watch named the Classic Fusion Chrono Aero Hope for the Warriors. A portion of all the fake watches were donated to Hope for the Warriors, a non-profit organization benefitting post-9/11 service members, veterans, and military families.

BWT: What are some of the watch brands you are known for carrying? If you could pick a watch brand or model that epitomizes the culture or style of Englewood what would it be?

Timepiece Collection: The watch brands that we are well-known for carrying include Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Breitling, Glashütte, Harry Winston, Hermes, Hublot, Jaquet Droz, Longines, Omega, Tag Heuer, Ulysse Nardin, and Zenith. We are also an authorized retailer for Bell & Ross, Bovet, Girard-Perregaux, Guiliano Mazzuoli, Parmigiani Fleurier, and Perrelet. Along with being an authorized retailer, we also sell many various brands of preowned replica watches including Rolex, IWC, Roger Dubuis, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Vacheron Constantin and many others.

Within the past year, we have acquired Chopard, NOMOS Glashütte, and Breguet. We are extremely happy and proud to be an authorized dealer for all of our brands and will continue to serve our watch community with the newest and best pieces on the market.

Introducing the Revamped Vacheron Constantin Replica Overseas Collection

Vacheron Constantin introduced a completely revised Overseas collection at SIHH this year, including five new models and three new calibers. The new calibers, including a chronograph and a special ladies’ caliber, carry the Geneva Hallmark, a key step in the brand’s goal to convert 100 percent of its production to the Geneva Seal standard by the end of the year. Vacheron also introduced an anti-magnetic component to all Overseas calibers, one that uniquely allows for open casebacks.

The new automatic Caliber 5200, five years in development, is a column-wheel chronograph with vertical coupling clutch, replacing a Frédéric Piguet movement previously used in the Overseas chronograph model. Twin barrels with thicker mainsprings ensure a 50-hour power reserve. The second new caliber is the 5100, with hours, minutes, seconds and date, housed in a 41-mm case. It is an automatic movement, with two mainsprings, delivering a 60-hour power reserve. The new 5300 is a smaller caliber, made for a 37-mm ladies’ model set with 84 diamonds on the bezel, totaling one carat. Functions include hours, minutes, and a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock. Both the 5100 and 5300 replace Jaeger-LeCoultre movements previously used in Overseas models.

The final two new models in the replica Vacheron Constantin Overseas collection contain the existing ultra-thin caliber 1120, also used in the brand’s Patrimony collection. The automatic Caliber 1120 QP is housed in a new Overseas perpetual calendar with moon phase and leap year indicator; it measures only 4.05 mm thick; the case is only 8.1 mm thick. The time-only Caliber 1120 is a mere 2.45 mm thick, cased in an ultra-slim dress watch with no seconds or date display.

All calibers in the five new Overseas models have been fitted with soft-iron inner casings for anti-magnetic protection. Unlike other brands’ models fitted with this technology, the Overseas replica watches have open casebacks. It is typically impossible to view the movement through a sapphire crystal caseback in “anti-magnetized” replica watches because the inner soft-iron shell covers the back of the movement. The shell in the new Overseas collection, however, is positioned just inside the casing ring, which is steeply angled towards the back to protect the movement without covering it altogether, allowing for an opening. Vacheron Constantin replica says this positioning protects the watch to a level of 200-400 gauss, compared to the industry standard of 60 gauss. (The highest standard among fake watches with soft-iron inner casings and closed casebacks is the replica Rolex Milgauss, with 1,000 gauss anti-magnetic protection. Other brands, such as Omega replica, equip some movements with escapement components made of anti-magnetic materials, eliminating the need for a soft-iron shell altogether while providing up to 5,000 gauss protection.)

The 22-karat gold rotors are engraved with a wind rose compass, the symbol of the Overseas collection.

The movements in the new Overseas collection are all automatic, with large, 22k gold rotors engraved with a wind rose compass motif, a symbol of world travel that reflects the spirit of the Overseas collection. Water resistance varies between models from 50 meters to 150 meters. Each is equipped with an “easy-fit” interchangeable strap system that works by twisting the bracelet at the lugs by 180 degrees. Options include a metal bracelet, leather with nubuck lining, or a rubber strap. Quick bracelet-change systems were a popular feature among the brands’ introductions at SIHH this year.

Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph Replica Watches Hands On

The tricky thing about revisiting a classic is that there is no formula for success. It’s not as simple as creating something totally new that has its inspiration in the past, nor does it necessarily pay dividends to update and refine the original with new techniques and technologies. Both ways can work; both ways can fail. By releasing the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, the oldest continuously active replica watches company in the world has taken just such a risk.

Based on their earliest chronographs from the 1920s, the Harmony model seeks to bring this seminal model up-to-date. It may look similar to the first edition, now almost 100 years old, but every single element has been looked at, worked on, and rethought – so much so that the Harmony collection actually is much more haute horlogerie than it is main collection, and both the quality of execution, as well as the price testify to that; but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The resulting product is a harmonious blend of revered tradition and refined technique.

The cushion-shaped cases of early 20th century Vacheron Constantin replica watches have housed some of my most beloved timepieces. The iconic Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921 driving watch, re-imagined by the brand a few years ago, still haunts my dreams and mocks my attempts at designing a replica watch as simple and as captivating with every stroke of ink. But if you actually take the time to go back and study that watch and look at the case that I, like so many, extol, you will notice immediately how different the case of the new Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph actually is.

A traditional cushion case is a simple, straightforward way of increasing the visual interest of a single-piece case design. It’s basically a soft square – nothing too complicated at all! What Vacheron Constantin have done with this new wave of Harmony replica watches, released to celebrate 260 years of non-strop production, is to place the emphasis on sculpture, to draw our attention to the many shapes within shapes that can be seen on this watch. The case looks small and slim, but it is in fact a mid-size piece, sufficient for packing a serious mechanical punch. This is just as well, as the nuts and bolts of the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph are far from simple.

The sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating, is round; the bezel is square; the case is curved to pull the harsher edges of the bezel into itself and to hug the wrist of the wearer. The dial displays the time and chronograph seconds in the center, running seconds at 9, chronograph minutes at 3, and a power reserve indicator at 6. On the periphery of the dial is a “pulsometer” scale rendering the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph a “doctor’s chronograph.”

This manual wind, pulsometer chronograph utilises the calibre 3300, which is directly inspired by the 1928 model. Vacheron Constantin have made the wise (almost no-brainer) decision to retain the column wheel as the control component of the chronograph, but have made several other improvements in areas such as materials, precision, functionality, aesthetics, and user-friendliness, all of which are made possible by modern technology.

The movement is, of course, amazing to look at (and the emblazoned Geneva Seal, well earned), but the benefits of computer aided design are probably easiest to appreciate by studying the overlapping angles of the case. Manufacturing to this level of precision was simply not a workable goal a century ago. It is likely that minds accomplished enough to conceive such a construction were in existence, but to produce a multi-part housing with the requisite accuracy to achieve a functional level of water resistance was, I’m sure, an ambition too far.

There are plenty who will prefer the aesthetic of a twin-pusher set-up, flanking a basic winding crown, but for fans of monopushers, this one’s a treat. Not only is it functionally superb (upon actuation, the column wheel is smooth as butter as opposed to the clunky feel of a cam), it is excellently rendered. As one might expect, I am something of a watch geek and cannot deny the strange happiness I feel in my belly when something is so well-made it looks almost like it was never made at all. By that, I mean it seems incomprehensible anything brutal enough to cut or form metal has ever come close to a component of this quality. In all honesty, as much as I would love to wear one of these swiss replica watches, and as much as I’d surely delight in using the chronograph, I would be a little scared to touch it in case I put a huge scratch in the 18ct gold from which the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph is hewn.

That said, I know I would get over it if I were to wear one every day; which, perhaps surprisingly, you could totally manage – given your choice of daily attire is of the more formal sort. As hefty as its price tag may be, this Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, like basically all the fake watches in the Harmony range, looks like it was designed to be worn. There is a great sense of balance to the case design, but its beauty is by no means skin deep.

The calibre 3300 features “fleurisanne engraving” on the balance cock. A scrolling motif inspired by the oldest pocket replica watches, this special decoration is reserved for the seven inaugural pieces of the Harmony range, which will all be released in limited numbers – presently, there are two chronograph and two dual-time models (meaning one larger and one smaller version of each), one tourbillon chronograph, and one split-second chronograph (hands-on here), so there is still room for the Harmony range to expand.

It is no news that in watchmaking, it is the microscopic things that make the difference – and even for a “revival” (or rather, tribute) piece like the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, there was room to improve on some key parts and functions. A small, cone-shaped gear has been added between the winding pinion and the crown wheel to improve the smoothness of the winding action when recharging your timepiece. Thanks to an extremely advanced gear profiling system, Vacheron have managed to reduce the tooth clearance of the train wheels to a staggering 0.03mm. What this means in practice is that there is almost no backlash in the teeth, no wobble of the hands in winding or operation with the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph – eliminating that rather annoying (although arguably minor) issue with most all mechanical replica watches where there is noticeable play between the rotation of the crown and the movement achieved when setting the hands or winding the mainspring.

The 65-hour power reserve (that’s a touch under 3 days) means that owning this manual wind watch will not be too much of a chore. The watch displays the hours and minutes, mounted centrally, while the running seconds hand can be seen at 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, we can see a power reserve indicator (an eminently useful complication for a manual wind) on a small sub-dial that does not interrupt the surrounding information of the pulsometer. The chronograph seconds hand is centrally mounted, and the minute counter can be found at 3 o’clock. A new technique for the coupling of the chronograph clutch ensures a smooth, jerk-free start to the travel of the chronograph seconds hand upon starting the chronograph running. One other cool upgrade installed by the Vacheron Constantin experts is the two reset hammers used instead of one. This, along with the activation system and improved gear profiling, improves the immediate functionality of the fake watch, as well as extending the lifespan of the parts, as the stress placed on them during operation is much reduced.

Priced at $190, the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph tugs at my horological heartstrings like few others. There’s nothing that says you have to like this watch, but I’m guessing a lot of long-time aficionados will hold this one in high esteem.
