The Custom Curated Luxury Replica Watches Surprise Box For Men

As an BuyWatchesTop guest, Paul Chakour of Dilusso would like to share details about their luxury surprise box for men which features a curated collection of goods including a replica watch, pen, headphones, and other selected products.

I’d like to thank BuyWatchesTop for providing me with this guest post opportunity.

My name is Paul Chakour and I am the CEO of Dilusso – the luxury surprise box for men. I am an avid mechanical watch enthusiast and, along with my co-founders, share an affinity for luxury and high-touch customer service. At one time or another, we’ve each celebrated life’s milestones by making a luxury purchase to commemorate the occasion. Still today, I can remember buying one of my prized replica watches while on my honeymoon in Italy. It’s that type of lasting memory that was the main inspiration for Dilusso.

Derived from the Italian phrase di lusso, which means “of luxury” or “luxurious,” Dilusso brings together luxury brands, iconic curators from various industries, as well as exclusive experiences to create a unique “experiential buying” service. Research has shown that owning goods may be a reflection of our identity, but experiences tend to be our identity and can make us all the more interesting and even happier.

You may be familiar with the subscription and mystery box concept which has gained huge popularity over the past few years, generally comprised of consumable goods or samples. Until now, there hasn’t been any that focus on the luxury consumer at this level.

So, what can you expect from a Dilusso Surprise Box? We start with a hand-crafted solid mahogany box, which is a luxury keepsake in and of itself. Then, as a centerpiece of the Dilusso Surprise Box, we include one of our personal favorite luxury items, a Swiss made mechanical watch from the likes of Replica Rolex, Panerai, and Hublot Watches. When it comes to selecting fake watches, your curator will always take your preferences, your current collection, and aspirational pieces into account. We have also developed partnerships with highly sought-after brands such as De Bethune, Roger Dubuis, and MCT. These more exclusive pieces carry a higher price value than some of our initial Dilusso Surprise Boxes, but we will develop private and intimate experiences around these amazing brands for the true watch connoisseur.

We then surround the timepiece with other luxury essentials for men. These include pens; cuff links; headphones and other tech; leather goods like wallets, bags, and agendas; watch related accessories like watch winders and straps; bracelets; belts; and art. All essentials are from leading recognizable brands such as replica Goyard, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton or relatively new and unique entrants to the market like, Roland Iten, Anil Arjandas, and Edelberg – each with an intriguing story and exclusivity to themselves. And, retail value for the items will always be higher than what you pay for your Dilusso Surprise Box.

Dilusso is all about creating memories, and a Dilusso Surprise Box wouldn’t be complete without amazing luxury experiences. The options are truly endless, but each Dilusso Surprise Box will be curated specifically around the interests and passions of each customer to create exhilarating experiences such as:

  • dining at some of the most highly regarded restaurants around the world
  • private celebrity chef dining experiences
  • VIP access to major sporting events like Formula 1, US Open, or NFL Super Bowl
  • movie premieres and VIP access to the Grammy Awards including celebrity after-parties
  • Private travel to a vibrant city like Las Vegas or luxury yacht charter in Cannes for the film festival

How, exactly, do we offer this? By visiting our website, firstly, our customer selects from our expert influencers or personalities from social media, entertainment, sports, and lifestyle to curate his Dilusso Surprise Box. Then, we work with our customer to get an intimate understanding of his personal interests, and our curator then goes to work deciding on which essentials and experiences will fit the customer best, injecting their own personal style, taste, and expertise. The curator can choose from our ever-growing pool of brands and partners. All goods are 100% authentic and sourced from authorized dealers or directly from the brand and include the manufacturer’s warranty. We will not offer grey market or pre-owned goods. We will, however, let our customers know if a rare and sought-after vintage item has been acquired as part of their Dilusso Surprise Box.

Working with the premier global concierge service, Les Concierges, the curator builds exhilarating experiences based on the customer’s preferences and taking into account their geographic location and the time of the year – specifically for scheduled events such as sporting events.

Then, we deliver the custom Dilusso Surprise Box directly to our customer’s door – anywhere in the world— international shipping & insurance included, with hand-delivery offered anywhere within North America. The Dilusso Surprise Box experience doesn’t end at delivery: we personally follow up with each customer to ensure they’re satisfied and, most of all, surprised.

A Dilusso Surprise Box starts at US$15 and each box is personalized and part of a numbered limited edition series to ensure exclusivity.

Apart from the fact there wasn’t anything like this in the market, we wanted to offer a unique luxury buying experience for men to make their purchase as memorable as possible. We wanted a way our customers could celebrate their success and achievements or commemorate a milestone in their life in a manner that would bring them joy and memories for many years to come.

We’re always open to feedback and would love to hear about which curators you’d like to see, the brands & types of essentials as well as experiences that would excite you most. You can let us know via phone, email, or live chat (available on our website), or via our social media pages – we’d love to hear from you.

A sincere thank you again to the BWT team for allowing us to share.

Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph Replica Watches Hands On

The tricky thing about revisiting a classic is that there is no formula for success. It’s not as simple as creating something totally new that has its inspiration in the past, nor does it necessarily pay dividends to update and refine the original with new techniques and technologies. Both ways can work; both ways can fail. By releasing the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, the oldest continuously active replica watches company in the world has taken just such a risk.

Based on their earliest chronographs from the 1920s, the Harmony model seeks to bring this seminal model up-to-date. It may look similar to the first edition, now almost 100 years old, but every single element has been looked at, worked on, and rethought – so much so that the Harmony collection actually is much more haute horlogerie than it is main collection, and both the quality of execution, as well as the price testify to that; but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The resulting product is a harmonious blend of revered tradition and refined technique.

The cushion-shaped cases of early 20th century Vacheron Constantin replica watches have housed some of my most beloved timepieces. The iconic Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921 driving watch, re-imagined by the brand a few years ago, still haunts my dreams and mocks my attempts at designing a replica watch as simple and as captivating with every stroke of ink. But if you actually take the time to go back and study that watch and look at the case that I, like so many, extol, you will notice immediately how different the case of the new Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph actually is.

A traditional cushion case is a simple, straightforward way of increasing the visual interest of a single-piece case design. It’s basically a soft square – nothing too complicated at all! What Vacheron Constantin have done with this new wave of Harmony replica watches, released to celebrate 260 years of non-strop production, is to place the emphasis on sculpture, to draw our attention to the many shapes within shapes that can be seen on this watch. The case looks small and slim, but it is in fact a mid-size piece, sufficient for packing a serious mechanical punch. This is just as well, as the nuts and bolts of the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph are far from simple.

The sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating, is round; the bezel is square; the case is curved to pull the harsher edges of the bezel into itself and to hug the wrist of the wearer. The dial displays the time and chronograph seconds in the center, running seconds at 9, chronograph minutes at 3, and a power reserve indicator at 6. On the periphery of the dial is a “pulsometer” scale rendering the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph a “doctor’s chronograph.”

This manual wind, pulsometer chronograph utilises the calibre 3300, which is directly inspired by the 1928 model. Vacheron Constantin have made the wise (almost no-brainer) decision to retain the column wheel as the control component of the chronograph, but have made several other improvements in areas such as materials, precision, functionality, aesthetics, and user-friendliness, all of which are made possible by modern technology.

The movement is, of course, amazing to look at (and the emblazoned Geneva Seal, well earned), but the benefits of computer aided design are probably easiest to appreciate by studying the overlapping angles of the case. Manufacturing to this level of precision was simply not a workable goal a century ago. It is likely that minds accomplished enough to conceive such a construction were in existence, but to produce a multi-part housing with the requisite accuracy to achieve a functional level of water resistance was, I’m sure, an ambition too far.

There are plenty who will prefer the aesthetic of a twin-pusher set-up, flanking a basic winding crown, but for fans of monopushers, this one’s a treat. Not only is it functionally superb (upon actuation, the column wheel is smooth as butter as opposed to the clunky feel of a cam), it is excellently rendered. As one might expect, I am something of a watch geek and cannot deny the strange happiness I feel in my belly when something is so well-made it looks almost like it was never made at all. By that, I mean it seems incomprehensible anything brutal enough to cut or form metal has ever come close to a component of this quality. In all honesty, as much as I would love to wear one of these swiss replica watches, and as much as I’d surely delight in using the chronograph, I would be a little scared to touch it in case I put a huge scratch in the 18ct gold from which the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph is hewn.

That said, I know I would get over it if I were to wear one every day; which, perhaps surprisingly, you could totally manage – given your choice of daily attire is of the more formal sort. As hefty as its price tag may be, this Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, like basically all the fake watches in the Harmony range, looks like it was designed to be worn. There is a great sense of balance to the case design, but its beauty is by no means skin deep.

The calibre 3300 features “fleurisanne engraving” on the balance cock. A scrolling motif inspired by the oldest pocket replica watches, this special decoration is reserved for the seven inaugural pieces of the Harmony range, which will all be released in limited numbers – presently, there are two chronograph and two dual-time models (meaning one larger and one smaller version of each), one tourbillon chronograph, and one split-second chronograph (hands-on here), so there is still room for the Harmony range to expand.

It is no news that in watchmaking, it is the microscopic things that make the difference – and even for a “revival” (or rather, tribute) piece like the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph, there was room to improve on some key parts and functions. A small, cone-shaped gear has been added between the winding pinion and the crown wheel to improve the smoothness of the winding action when recharging your timepiece. Thanks to an extremely advanced gear profiling system, Vacheron have managed to reduce the tooth clearance of the train wheels to a staggering 0.03mm. What this means in practice is that there is almost no backlash in the teeth, no wobble of the hands in winding or operation with the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph – eliminating that rather annoying (although arguably minor) issue with most all mechanical replica watches where there is noticeable play between the rotation of the crown and the movement achieved when setting the hands or winding the mainspring.

The 65-hour power reserve (that’s a touch under 3 days) means that owning this manual wind watch will not be too much of a chore. The watch displays the hours and minutes, mounted centrally, while the running seconds hand can be seen at 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, we can see a power reserve indicator (an eminently useful complication for a manual wind) on a small sub-dial that does not interrupt the surrounding information of the pulsometer. The chronograph seconds hand is centrally mounted, and the minute counter can be found at 3 o’clock. A new technique for the coupling of the chronograph clutch ensures a smooth, jerk-free start to the travel of the chronograph seconds hand upon starting the chronograph running. One other cool upgrade installed by the Vacheron Constantin experts is the two reset hammers used instead of one. This, along with the activation system and improved gear profiling, improves the immediate functionality of the fake watch, as well as extending the lifespan of the parts, as the stress placed on them during operation is much reduced.

Priced at $190, the Vacheron Constantin Harmony Chronograph tugs at my horological heartstrings like few others. There’s nothing that says you have to like this watch, but I’m guessing a lot of long-time aficionados will hold this one in high esteem.

Breitling Navitimer 01 46mm Two-Tone Replica Watch Hands-On

It is a special man who finds a perfect wrist companion in the two-tone steel and gold version of the larger 46mm-wide version of the classic Breitling Navitimer replica watch. Of course, this is the “Navitimer 01” model that contains Breitling’s first in-house movement – the Breitling Caliber 01. Breitling Navitimer fans are a unique breed of aviation lovers who actually do fly or highly aspire to. In dive watch terms, the Breitling Navitimer might be something like an Omega Seamaster Ploprof. Sort of a big-sized, nerdy dive watch with a cult following and special function or case beyond that of most other replica watches of its genre. Sure, there have been plenty of Navitimer homages over the years, but Breitling was the first to put a rotating slide-rule bezel in a wrist watch.

Our Max wrote a review of this generation Breitling Navitimer 01 watch here. I’ll let you explore that article for more practical information on wearing and owning the Breitling Navitimer 01 – which is clearly one of Breitling’s most iconic models ever. I have personally always liked the Breitling Navitimer but not yet found the model for me. I am also keenly aware that I will likely never actually use the rotating slide-rule bezel. It isn’t that I don’t want to, but rather that my math skills are never going to be up to snuff. More so, I am deeply enough of the digital calculator generation to never have any type of nostalgic feelings toward older “non-electronic” calculators.

Nevertheless, the Breitling Navitimer is a classic, isn’t it? It has managed to also be one of those hyper-masculine replica watches that still feels conservative and looks good on the wrists of many different kinds of men. For that, within the aviation watch realm, it will continue to be one of “the” icon fake watches. Part of being included in that designation is being niche, I feel. As iconic as it is, I still think the Patek Philippe Nautilus is niche in its appeal. It just isn’t for everyone and neither is the Breitling Navitimer.

In two-tone steel with an 18k gold bezel, the Breitling Navitimer 01 takes on a special personality. This piece is on the rich, padded brown alligator strap, but Breitling also offers it on steel or, hopefully, two-tone steel and 18k gold bracelet in the future. That latter option has been around for previous versions of two-tone Navitimers. On the two-tone bracelet, you get the most “lifestyle” look given the sheen of all that polished metal and glint of gold. The black dial is given gold hour markers and hands too, which helps complete the look. Still, there isn’t a huge amount of gold on the watch which prevents the price from soaring to near all-gold-case levels. They do produce solid gold versions of this Breitling Navitimer 01 46mm.

At 46mm wide, this version of the Breitling Navitimer isn’t the largest. I have also covered the 48mm-wide Breitling Navitimer GMT also with an in-house made Replica Breitling movement. Even if this Breitling Navitimer 01 46mm isn’t the largest Navitimer model around, it still wears admirably, and has a case that is a solid 14.5mm thick.

I do want to mention that, in my opinion, if you like the look of a slightly too-large (dare I say “oversize”) watch on your wrist, then the Breitling Navitimer is one of those replica watches that you can get away with wearing even if it is on the larger size. Something about pilot watches also seems to dictate that they always seem to look best when very large in size.

The Breitling caliber 01 is a pretty solid movement, and the good news is that you can see it through the sapphire crystal caseback window. As many of you know, it isn’t at all common for Breitling to have replica watches with exhibition casebacks. Usually, you get a really nicely made, albeit solid metal, caseback on Breitling replica watches. Operating at 4Hz (28,800 bph), the 01 has a power reserve maximum of 70 hours and offers the time with date and 12-hour chronograph. It is definitely an industrialized movement, but it nevertheless has a hearty richness to it just like the polish Breitling does on most of their mirrored cases.

Going on to the dial, I had mixed feelings about the added red but then later learned to enjoy it. Not that having red accents is anything new on a Breitling Navitimer, but I was curious to know what the dial looked like with just three colors (black, white, and gold), and not four with the addition of red. You know the guy wearing this two-tone Breitling Navitimer 01 46mm likes to show off a bit, but it is still a legitimate looking tool watch – which is part of the mass Breitling appeal in general. You also get the desirable “panda dial effect” that, for some reason, always looks so damn good and classic.

While it would have most certainly cost more, having 18k gold pushers and crown on the case in addition to the bezel would have been nice, but clearly more expensive, and I think Breitling was trying to avoid that. So this is a “light” two-tone watch but still adds just a hint of still masculine bling to the tried-and-true Breitling Navitimer replica watch design. Breitling offers this case style on a number of strap and bracelet options. The Breitling Navitimer 01 46mm steel and gold on the alligator strap retails for the price of $110. It is less on a cow leather strap and maxes out at $120 on the steel bracelet.
